The ideal candidate will be based in Mexico or Columbia.
The Channel Development Manager ('CDM') will be focused on engaging new or existing HP customers to activate the Absolute technology.
The CDM will become an Absolute subject matter expert that can skillfully communicate the Absolute Story and provide insightful product overviews.
Working closely with the Absolute and HP sales teams, the CDM will directly engage customers, identify individual customer needs, and guide them through the solution activation process, with a goal of helping customers unlock Absolute's full potential within their own organizations.Responsibilities Include:Become an Absolute subject matter expertDeliver the value of Absolute, compelling use cases,



and relevant industry knowledge to new customersManage customer enablement by doing the following:Drive Activations and Renewals of Absolute solutions for previously 'sold' accountsProvide customers relevant education content within the Absolute Learning HubElevate technical issues to Absolute's Activation, PS or Technical Support teams to meet customer needsDeliver value driven engagements around product adoption and active usageDevelop relationships and evangelize Absolute solutions with Absolute & HP inside and field sales organizations (RSD, Director, Executive Director and VP level)Collaborate with HP & Absolute sales members and the Absolute Customer Success team to drive Activations and Renewals of Absolute solutions for previously 'sold' accountsCoordinate Sales efforts between Absolute and HP Sales and Services team to achieve assigned sales goals and growth targetsProvide pre-sales assistance to Absolute and HP account managers via phone, e-mail and/or in person, responding to sales requests and/or inquiries in a timely mannerPrepare and communicate weekly,



monthly partner status reports, including weekly pipeline reports and sales engagement statusAchieve channel sales and revenue goals by ensuring channel programs are operating efficiently and maximizing their effectivenessContinually drive program improvement based on input from field and inside sales teams and knowledge of other industry channel programsPlan and execute go-to-market marketing strategies, including but not limited to:Management meetingsSales trainingFloor daysTeam huddlesPlanning meetingsQuarterly Business ReviewsProtect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customersWhat You Will Need:Ability to take on, and manage,



projects based on requirements of Absolute's developing business requirementsProven history of being able to work independently and with cross-functional teams to achieve company and departmental objectivesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven history of analyzing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve resultsAbility to excel in a team environment which emphasizes cooperation and mutual respectStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to present to all audiences, build relationships and negotiate effectivelyAttention to detail and the ability to follow-through are essentialExperience in IT and/or PC businessKnowledge of general IT practices and/or endpoint security, such as anti-virus, encryption, DLP, etc.Strong aptitude for technology and desire to learn new softwareCompletion of post-secondary education, or equivalentAbility to build and maintain customer relationshipsBoundless energy,
