**Secure DevOps Job Description**:
**Role Summary**:
**This role will hold a position on the Secure DevOps (SDO) team.
As a member of the SDO team you will work closely with other security professionals, developers, engineers and leaders to continuously improve the overall posture of Global Payments solutions. This will include a mix of directly contributing to solutions to aid in issue remediation, facilitating onboarding to new or existing security tooling, and providing consultation services if necessary.**
**Team members will leverage feasible forms of automation such as CI/CD hooks, integrations to work tracking tools and/or chat integrations, and more to increase visibility and shorten feedback loops.**
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Engage with teams working in Mexico City**
- ** Research and prototype assistance for improving cloud infrastructure hygiene**
- ** Onboarding and configuration assistance for SAST providers**
- ** Provide guidance on new security technologies and trends**
- ** Potentially provide incident assistance (triage, documentation, etc.)**
- ** Assist with documentation of approved methods, recipes or design to reduce cognitive load on teams**
- ** Collaborate autonomously with solution team members for remediation**
- ** Assist in building, collaborating or prototyping infosec integrations**
- ** Help designing and/or implementing automation hooks into CI/CD pipelines**
- ** Partnering with existing security, engineering and architecture teams to bridge gaps and find solutions**
**Helpful Skills/Knowledge**:
- ** Strong software development, version control, engineering, or architectural backgrounds are strongly preferred**
- ** Autonomy - The capacity to discover, learn and engage with complex systems with little guidance (while being provided adequate access for self discovery)**
- ** Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel or Datadog a bonus**
- ** Knowledge of endpoint protection such as Carbon Black Cloud, Wiz Sensors, and Trend Micro suite will be beneficial**
- ** Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, AZDO pipelines, Gitlab and others**
**What Are We Looking For in This Role?**
**Minimum Qualifications**
- ** Fluent in Spanish**
- ** Bachelor's Degree**
- ** Relevant Experience or Degree in: in Information Security or Computer Science preferred. Other majors will be considered.**
- ** Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Exp**
- ** Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining corporate security policy along with standards and procedures.
