**Mech Design Engr II**




To be located at Honeywell Aerospace Chihuahua, this Honeywell Aerospace Materials Engineering position will provide support for new and existing products including aerospace gas turbine engines used for propulsion and auxiliary power.
Primary responsibilities include support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of parts.
Key requirements of the role will be the ability to interface directly with suppliers and provide
support with production troubleshooting on different special process issues.
**Responsibilities include**:
specification maintenance, process documentation, approval of suppliers and forging components
conducting maintenance audits to ensure specification and process compliance
support determination of Root Cause and Corrective Action associated with process escapes
identification of producibility opportunities and cost reduction.
