**Engineering Manager**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in Juarez, Mexico.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
The Engineering Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the engineering department, facilitating efficient EMS manufacturing operations, including but not limited to New Product Introduction (NPI's), Development, Maintenance and Test Engineering activities, and PCBA's and Complex Box Build products from customers' specifications and requirements.




The Engineering Manager has complete responsibility and accountability for the effective management of engineering resources to ensure successful manufacturability and is a key member of our management team.
The Engineering Manager provides technical expertise and guidance and help to improve processes, procedures, and capabilities of the engineering team, whilst driving innovation and continuous improvement within Advanced Manufacturing Technology by harnessing new technologies in the areas of systems, equipment, and processes.
This position reports directly to the General Manager, Juarez Mexico site.
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy) or equivalent skills and experience required.
- Minimum 5 years in engineering management, preferably in the electronics manufacturing or EMS industry, with experience in high mix/low-mid volume production of PCBA's and Box Build Products.
- Strong technical background with expertise in electronic product design,



manufacturing processes, maintenance and quality management systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- Experience with assembly process evaluation, control, and validation, PFMEA, SPC, and first article process controls, Design of Experiments (DOE), Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Process Management Software Program Applications, Computer Aided Design (CAD) or similar programs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements (ex., ISO 9001, IPC standards, etc.)
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI's) processes and change management (development, industrialization, or similar).
- Strong product knowledge, with adequate understanding of business processes including development,



commercial and supply chain considerations.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of effectively communicating ideas and proposals to others.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, other continuous improvement tools is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English languages, both written and verbal is a mandatory requirement for consideration of this opportunity.
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success and professional growth.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet project deadlines, quality standards, and customer requirements.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring adherence to specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with customers to understand their technical requirements, provide engineering support, and address any concerns or issues.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including resource allocation, budget management, and timeline tracking.
- Drive innovation and technology adoption by staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- I Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.




- Provides guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions; coordinates outside contractors and vendors as it pertains to the engineering and maintenance teams.
- Oversees and manages maintenance programs, activities, and responsibilities of the site.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines within Mexico's legislative requirements and follows up with any violations with appropriate actions to resolve the matter as expediently as possible.
