**JR DB Operations Specialist - Engineering Team / Global Company**This Remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Mexico.Occasional travel may be required for key meetings, conferences, or team events.We seek a skilled and motivated **JR** **DB Operations Specialist** to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Assist in analyzing and improving query performance under guidance.- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database queries.- Learn and contribute to writing stored procedures, functions,
and triggers.- Support ETL processes by helping with data extraction and transformation.- Ensure data integrity and assist in generating reports for business intelligence.
**REQUIREMENTS**:- 1+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in MySQL or other relational databases.- Some knowledge of query performance tuning techniques such as indexing.- Familiarity with stored procedures, functions, and triggers is a plus.- Basic understanding of relational database design principles.- Willingness to learn ETL processes and data transformation techniques.- Fluent English (B1/B2 level) for effective written and verbal communication.
**BONUS SKILLS (HIGHLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)**:- Some experience in backend/frontend development using modern tools (PHP/JS).- Familiarity with modern web development practices and agile methodologies.
