We create clothing that is great for the people who wear them and the people who make them, by joining forces with indigenous communities and incorporating their high-quality designs into awesome products that match their travel lifestyle.- **JOB DESCRIPTION**:_- As a key leader within our People Team, the People Lead will work closely with the Chief People Officer, and join a- dynamic and fast paced team focused on assuring the best experience for everyone at Someone Somewhere.
The People- Lead will handle recruitment, team engagement, training programs, performance management, compensation & benefits- and team culture.
Most importantly, our People Lead will consistently demonstrate the Someone Somewhere core values- through their daily interactions, including transparency & feedback, ownership, solution-oriented thinking, the ability to- under promise and over deliver, learn, approach situations with gratitude & positivity and have fun!- **WHAT YOU WILL DO**:_- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across the company.- Measure people engagement, satisfaction and success: define KPIs and track what people success looks like.- Handle our performance management initiatives and reinforce feedback culture within the organization- Set up and manage training and development initiatives that drive people growth across leadership management and technical roles for a high-performance, high-growth mindset and teamwork.- Propose proactive actions to reinforce culture,
improve our communication and to reflect over ownership and accountability- Seek opportunities to improve benefits for the team and make sure we're reaching the highest regulatorystandards- Coordinate employment contracts processes: from job offers to contract's creation and signature.- **ABOUT YOU**:_- 5 - 7 years work experience in HR roles in High Growth Companies.- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development or similar.- A creative problem solver, action-oriented, resourceful and results-driven.- A self-directed leader with entrepreneurial spirit who takes ownership over scaling our team and company.- Proven track record in project management, process design, tracking performance and results.- Proven track record in new processes and methodologies implementation.- Skilled in identifying culture and team opportunities,
designing and implementing people operations strategies- that drive business results.- A natural coach and mentor with an ability to foster relationships with all levels of the team, to relate with- others, to listen effectively, and to help the team at all levels achieve their development goals.- Highly autonomous, ambitious, adaptable, and resilient within a fast paced dynamic work environment.- Be analytical, yet realistic.
