**Who are we looking for?
***:
We are looking fir a Sr.
Manager engineer that will lead and manage a team of engineering experts to ensure the development and implementation of COTC standards and project specifications for efficient project execution.
The role requires ensuring alignment of project standards and procedures with contractors.
**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Engineering.
Desirable if the incumbent has post graduation in related Engineering field.
- 10 years experience in petrochemical, refining, oil and gas industrial environment.
Out of this, 10 years must be in a similar engineering,



design and project environment.
- Experience with Consulting and/or with EPC companies.
- Experience in maintenance, updation and implementation of Engineering Standards and International Regulations in petrochemicals manufacturing environment.
- Experience in participation in Value Engineering Review Workshops.
- Strong people management, interpersonal, administrative, leadership, planning, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of various kinds of engineering disciplines and expertise in own engineering discipline.
- Knowledgeable on Engineering related Codes, Standards, Industrial Practices and Regulations.
- Well acquainted with the needs of Industrial and Project environments.




- Knowledgeable with the practices and tools applied in Value Engineering and Sustainability fields in Industrial and Project environments.
- Hands-on experience in own engineering discipline for preparation of studies, calculations, data sheets, specifications, engineering drawings and documents.
- Hands-on experience in managing and coordination of activities with COTC project teams and other external departments, ensuring the procedures, standards and best practices are followed.
***Duties and responsibilities***:
The below accountabilities relate to leading the Engineering Disciplines, responsible for maintaining related COTC Engineering Standards for Projects and providing Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Fired Equipment, Packaged Equipment, Piping Engineering and Plot Plan Layout support services to COTC Projects:
**Strategic Contribution**:





- Guide an improvement of the Project Engineering Management team in order to provide world class engineering to COTC project.
- Communicate and align with all internal and external stakeholders.
**Engineering Standards**:
highly reliable, safe and cost effective industrial facilities based upon our client Standards and Best in class international Standards.
- Ensure timely processing of ES waiver and clarification requests within the established time frame.
- Ensure knowledge building and sharing of best practices and lessons learned among discipline engineers and their incorporation in ES.
**COTC Projects**:
**People Management & Development**:

- Ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through leadership, setting section and individual objectives, managing performance and talent,



developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and section performance.
- Ensure efficient management to utilize available resources in the most effective way for the benefit of COTC projects.
- Coach and mentor subordinates, fresh graduates and less experienced Saudi Engineers to develop and enhance their skills and competencies.
**Project Bidding & Consultancy Services**:

- Lead preparation of the project specific technical section of Invitation To Bid (ITB) documents for COTC projects.
- Lead technical bid clarification activities, arrange face-to-face clarification meetings with bidders, prepare technical evaluation reports, bidder ratings and manage other
