RESPONSIBILITIES: Be responsible for the cost analysis and cost understanding of main bought-in productsEnsure the understanding of component pricing within the organizationAssist Program Purchasing and Commodity Leads to understand costs associated with quality / part design / supply chainSupport innovative, cost-conscious solutions together with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and other program functionsFurther development of "should cost" calculation toolsDrive use of cost estimation tools e.g.
through training of Buyers worldwideDevelop cost reduction ideas through close collaboration with different functions within the organizationGenerate total landed costs improvements through initialization of workshops at suppliersIdentify and execute cost optimizations within the commoditiesUnderstand the tooling cost for bought-in componentsExecute tooling audits and evaluate deviation between invoiced and KT estimated costQualifications Bachelor of Purchasing, Materials Sciences, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, EconomicsFirst commercial working experience gained in internships is preferredBusiness Experience in the Automotive Industry will be preferredKnowledge in Value-, Design- and Price AnalysisIdeally Software Skills in Excel, ERP Systems - SAP, E-Matrix; Sharepoint, etc.English language skills are requiredRecruiting Company: Kautex
