In this position, you will report to the local head of operations.
You will also work with the appointed relationship managers and client service managers in the United States and Canada.
Your team will provide fund accounting services for clients contracted to various Apex offices across North America for open-ended funds, including both hedge funds and traditional funds.
In addition, the scope of your team's services may extend also to middle office services.You will have extensive experience in the accounting for and administration of traditional and hedge funds, and ideally also hybrid funds, which hold illiquid assets in an open-ended fund structure.
You will have a proven knowledge of the fund industry and should have demonstrated experience in leading teams successfully.
Experience working on Paxus and/or Geneva would also be highly beneficial for this position.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the oversight of fund accountants and fund administrators and their assigned funds.Experience dealing with a wide variety of funds (Traditional, hybrid, and Hedge funds).Experience dealing with complex P&L; allocations across entities within an overall structure.Strong understanding and experience dealing with various types of performance fee calculations.Ensure the funds under your responsibility are reviewed in accordance with the global KOP & checklists.Proven track record of developing/motivating individuals and teams.Ensure effective task allocation and delegation across your team,
with appropriate ability to respond to rapidly changing demands.Ensure a culture of continuous improvement.Manage team capacity to support new business.Primary contact and escalation point for the client service managers based in North America.Proven track record of excellent client service.Ensure client concerns and queries are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
