**Main Responsibilities**:
Provide technical leadership for pressure, speed, temperature, advance sensors, and engine controller units (ECU) to improve quality of current components on production.
Perform product design changes, support testing and/or analysis work for defined continuous improvement projects.
Operates in a team environment with John Deere groups, suppliers,
and customers by providing input to design solutions and actively participating or leading design reviews.
Develop recommendations within established guidelines required by the market demands and country regulations.
Required to work in different projects at the same time and take decisions that shall affect costs and revenue generated.
**What Skills You Need**:
- Ability to lead and prioritize work based on constantly changing information.
- Skill to perform project management and multi-task activities and keep record of achieved progresses.
- Experience in reporting to leadership levels status of projects.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB/SIMULINK.
- Working and theoretical knowledge of circuit theory and electronics/electromagnetics principles.
- Strong communication and preference for working on a team framework.
- Simulation of electrical components.
- Mechanical tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge in engineering principles, theory, and practice as well as product knowledge.
- Fundamental understanding of one or more of the following fields: combustion engine, aftertreatment, coolant, engine controllers, mature sensing and/or advance sensors.
- Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP), Enterprise Technology Development process (ETDP) and/or Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP).
**What Makes You Stand Out**:
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
- Training on Systems Engineering
- 2+ experience with multidomain simulation tools.
- 3+ experience with lab equipment such as dynamometers, high speed data capture,
current sensors and other tools for design and debug of electric components.
- 2+ experience with communication protocols such as CAN or Ethernet.
**Education**:
Bachelor´s degree related to field in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Physics, Aeronautical, Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
