We are looking for a talented **Product Systems Validation Technical Specialist** to join our team specializing in **Engineering** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP**.
**Job Summary**:
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Powertrain Integration and optimization related new technologies development to drive powertrain guidelines.
- Powertrain driveability evaluation to understand performance and competitiveness.
- Powertrain fuel efficiency and performance validation based on Engineering standards to support powertrain improvements and TCO guidelines.
- Powertrain validation simulation base, able to drive data at early development satges.
- Benchmark and competitive powertrain test based on Engineering standards
- Makes decisions in the areas of verification and validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.
- Investigates and addresses potential system concerns or issues, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.
- Applies and improves processes such as technical requirements, iDFMEA, Engineering Standard Work (ESW), DVP&R; optimization, test standards, and problem solving and tools such as Integrity, Microsoft Power BI,
and McParts required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making.
- Develop and standardize tools and process on specific powertrain related topics, to drive productivity.
- Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge.
- Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:
- Product knowledge

- Skilled on simulation and data analytic software (Matlab, Python,)
- Experience in Product Development, Product Application, and Product Design/Simulation.
- English fluent

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree desired.
**Experience**:
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical Product Development, Product Application, and Product Design/Simulation.
