.Strength GM relation with State Governments in order to improve our business environment, security & incentives.
Inform and present GM's business priority to State Governors and secretaries.
Work closely with plant managers to identify their needs and requirements and follow up on projects per plant- Monitor and track labor provisions and implementation in each one of the states where we have facilities: Hydrocarbons.- Work to grow GMs participation in Mexican Market and Strength GM Mfg Investments- Automotive Decree: Preserve the Decree and comply with it's requirements to secure GM's business Plan (import plans and Market share)- "Deposito Fiscal": Secure its continuation and comply with requirements- Used car imports:
Maintain Decree and diminish illegal vehicles legalization.
Align and promote NEW Vehicle control system substituting REPUVE.- Advocate / lobby with Federal / Local Governments and Legislators on goods recovery process and standardization.- Unilateral quota enterprise registration renewal and new project to increase quota for upcoming years (suppliers - OPEX).- Secure and develop Foreign Trade Procedures: Import and export permits, develop annual report to obtain PROSEC benefit- Drawback (Steel): Monitor and track process, secure reimbursement.
Work closely with GM customs and report / track progress accordingly.
Pursuit with MoE / Ministry of Finance to eliminate the measurement- Legislative Agenda: Lead strategy to identify in advance legislative initiatives that can generate impact to the industry and GMM- Trade associations: Optimize GM presence in all chambers and associations that GM is part of (AMCHAM, AMIA, AMIS, AMDA, CEEG, AMSOC).
Track GM representative participation and documentation).
Track and process quota payments to the associations.- Continue supporting Improvement in AMIA- Responsible for REPUVE administrative process and tracking.
