AGG798 Ap Manager Ssc Americas

A familyowned company that is the worlds leader in plantbased ingredients, a pioneer in plantbased proteins and a leading supplier of pharmaceutical excipients, requires AP Manager SSC Americas Education Experience Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Bilingual in English Spanish is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Demonstrated experience in SAP Excel.
Strong knowledge of AP processes, financial systems, and accounting principles.
Experience working in a shared service environment is preferred.
Key Accountabilities Leadership and Management o Supervise and manage the accounts payable team,



including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
oProvide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
o Set performance goals and objectives for the AP team and monitor progress.
Accounts Payable Operations o Oversee the endtoend AP process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliation.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
o Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
o Monitor and analyze AP metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement o Identify opportunities to streamline and automate AP processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
o Implement best practices and standard operating procedures across the AP function.
o Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance systems and tools used for AP operations.
Financial Reporting and Analysis o Prepare and review AP reports, including aging reports, payment forecasts,



and accruals.
o Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes, ensuring all AP transactions are accurately recorded.
o Provide analysis and insights on AP performance to senior management.
Compliance and Audit o Ensure adherence to internal controls and support audit activities related to accounts payable.
o Maintain proper documentation and records for all AP transactions.
o Address audit findings and implement recommendations to improve AP processes.
Technical competencies o Proficiency in ERP systems e.g., SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
