Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Brand Technical Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

A typical day may involve:
Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding.Complex Cloud Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex cloud tech deals.Required educationBachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise5+ years of experience in enterprise storage solutions.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage.Knowledge of integrating storage solutions with servers and virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Hands-on experience with IBM Storage products (e.g., IBM FlashSystem, IBM DS8000, IBM Spectrum Storage Suite).Familiarity with related technologies such as NVMe, RAID, and data deduplication.Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.Expertise in storage cybersecurity, including immutable backups and ransomware protection.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation purposes.Preferred technical and professional experiencePrevious experience at IBM or with key competitors (Pure, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE).
AvailabilityWillingness to travel as needed.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and prioritize tasks based on client needs.
