We are looking for a Network and Infrastructure Project Manager to work on an international project in the insurance and financial sector.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in both Infrastructure and Network-based projects to help deliver the existing portfolio of projects.
You will manage and coordinate the full life cycle of a project from the design phase through to implementation and operational handover into operational support.
You will be responsible for the ongoing management of the IT infrastructure including Wintel, Storage, Network & Telephony, IT Security, Desktop, and IT Service Management services.
Modality:
Hybrid (1 day a week at the offices in MADRID).
The role requires 100% English proficiency, as all tasks and communication will be in English.
Spanish is also necessary.
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the full life cycle of a project.
Creation and management of all project governance documents, including PID, RACI, and Requirement documents.
Work with the technical resources to develop the project plan, implementation approach, and resources required to deliver the projects.
Manage the delivery of the projects including: Weekly and monthly reporting.
Project budget management.
Project resource management.
Project risk and issue management.
Project specific tasks (data analysis, communications, process documents).
Manage the handover of projects into operational support across the support teams, including Managed Service providers.
Know-How: 4 - 7 years of hands-on project management experience with relevant experience in the following areas: Wintel Server upgrade projects (Windows Server, Citrix, AIX).
Desktop Replacement projects (Windows 10).
Storage infrastructure upgrade projects.
Email and Collaboration based projects (O365, SharePoint).
Network infrastructure upgrade projects.
Azure cloud-based data solutions.
Oracle database upgrade projects.
