We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Project Management and Business Analysis Lead - Americas

Role purpose:

The role holder will predominantly, support the U.S. and Latin America Regulatory Reporting and RWA maintenance and change delivery programs; as well as, the U.K. Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and other local regulators within the America’s Region that impact the Region’s Regulatory Reporting teams’ calculations, processes, data sourcing and deliverables / submissions - i.e.



implementation of Basel III Reforms in the United States of America and Latin America countries, in terms of both reporting and disclosures, coupled with on-going monitoring of regulatory developments issued by The Federal Reserve Board (‘FRB’), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (‘OCC’), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (‘FDIC’) --(collectively, ‘the US Agencies’), Mexican Central Bank (Banxico), Other Latin America’s Regulators.

The Project Management and Business Analysis Lead is a position that combines the responsibilities of both a project manager and business analyst; essentially overseeing the entire assigned project lifecycle and the regulatory reporting change and maintenance programmes. These include from understanding business needs to execute the solution, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and strategic business goals on time. As part of the Capital, Statistical and Regulatory Reporting Value Stream the role holder leads change initiation,



design and delivery of the Prudential Regulatory Reporting projects and is ultimately accountable for successful delivery and ensuring its benefits realization.

This individual will also work with Finance and IT teams, data officers, process owners and data input owners to ensure that the risks inherent in each process or system are identified and managed through the delivery of effective controls In addition, the role holder will document the business process controls and ensure full syndication and approval from Risk Stewards, Risk Owners, Controls Office, and Control Owner and lead internal and external audits and assurance reviews

Main activities:

· Deliver high quality, detailed business requirements, process design documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and clear choice estimations.

· Translating requirements into project plans and leading the project team and working groups





· Validate the integrity and quality of the inputs and data sources used for the regulatory reporting process.

· Monitor progress of data quality issue remediation plans

· Identifying initiatives to establish a more effective control environment to support integrity of the results produced to ensure it can withstand reviews performed by senior managers and auditors (internal and external)

· Adhere to project management methodologies and manage projects in accordance with Group Standards. They may be required to manage multiple projects involving interaction with several business areas.

· Efficient project execution and facilitation of meetings, forming of project team, and guiding them through the project delivery process.





· Ensure requirements coming from multiple areas are aligned and conflicts are resolved effectively.

· Willingness to take on additional tasks and/or duties as needed.

· Adopt new ways of working such as Agile, particularly in respect of change activities, and encourage the adoption of new technology within the reporting teams.

· They will be expected to adopt a flexible approach in terms of working hours.

· Background in computer systems to ensure an understanding of the technical development process; the ability to discuss technical issues with both technicians and business users.

· Deal with complex business needs and/or compressed project deliverable dates.

· Continually seeks ways of improving work processes.

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience in a related field.
- MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CPA,



CFA or Project Management Certificate is a plus.
- Overall experience in Basel Capital Requirements Calculations / Risk Weighted Assets (RWA).
- Have a solid knowledge of project lifecycle and methodologies, especially Agile.
- Should have between 5 and 7 years combined experience in technology, project management, banking, and/or finance. Treasury operations and / or Capital, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical and/or non-technical projects.
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with colleagues cross-border in a multinational organization is desirable.
- Confidence working with staff that includes the highest levels of management.
