.The UnitedLex Contracts Services Group is excited to hire a Contracts Manager into our expanding, dynamic team to support existing client relationships by assisting the client in its sourcing department.This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from Mexico.

Teaming Agreements and Vendor Contracts to meet expectations of our client.Participate in calls with our client and negotiation calls with counterparties.Exercise excellent professional judgement in negotiation and redlining; resolve first-level disputes and escalate appropriate questions to UnitedLex senior legal team providing support to the client as well as the client's legal team.Collaborate with client legal team to resolve issues and develop efficient and effective negotiation strategies.Ensure adherence to client vendor management requirements that achieve the optimal combination of service, cost, quality, and risk mitigation.Build and strengthen strong working relationships with clients based on confidence, performance, accountability, and visibility.Maintain professional communication with clients via daily emails, calls and video calls.Assist in the implementation, and communication of formal policies, processes and procedures to govern a supplier contract throughout its life-cycle, including but not limited to appraisal, assessment, onboarding, risk and performance monitoring, policy compliance, and communication.Stay abreast of and contribute to sourcing and procurement's professional trends and functional innovation particularly around legal and contractual matters.Willingness to assume additional responsibilities as needed.QualificationsA law degree with 5+ years of commercial contract experience, preferably in biopharma vertical.Comfortable with negotiating complex agreements with a counterparty (i.E., communicating via phone or web meeting as necessary to represent client's interest and negotiate points of a contract to completion).Attention to detail and ability to follow a standard operating procedure with business/legal judgment to account for risk while meeting timeline demands by client.Strong written and verbal English skills with a customer-focused approach.Critical thinking skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Role will be full remote with working hours aligned to standard U.S. business hours.Join Our Team!True to our founding goals, we overwhelmingly hire with a "Remote First" philosophy, maintaining the infrastructure to foster the success of remote employees no matter their location.UnitedLex believes in a healthy work-life balance and is committed to creating a flexible, results-based environment
