.As a Product Design Manager, you will lead and guide the design and engineering team, acting as an internal consultant for projects in the architectural windows and doors industry.You will be responsible for defining specifications, detailing projects, establishing quality standards, and designing packaging.
Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives, optimize processes, and drive innovation with new technologies.ResponsibilitiesInternal Technical Consulting:Evaluate and validate engineering solutions for customers in collaboration with the sales team, including in-depth knowledge of systems, maintaining contact with suppliers to resolve inquiries,



and creating a database of finishes, operability, and hardware.Execution Support:Solve engineering issues in manufacturing, packaging, and installation.
Optimize specifications and streamline delivery times.
Establish and maintain the process for creating technical drawings for manufacturing.
Ensure drawings are complete, accurate, and validated by suppliers and manufacturers.Quality Standards Definition:Establish quality standards for all product lines.
Develop a glossary of non-conformities and coordinate its implementation with the quality team.Research and Development (R&D;):Evaluate new systems and manufacturing feasibility in collaboration with the procurement team and COO.Automation and Process Optimization:Work with product management and design teams to define the automation roadmap.
Standardize engineering team processes and automate workflows in collaboration with the project management team.Leadership and Administration:Lead and manage the engineering team, providing mentorship and support.
Set priorities and efficiently allocate resources.




Evaluate performance and provide feedback to improve results.
Manage engineering budgets, including financial forecasting and cost control.Technical Skills & RequirementsExperience in engineering design and development for manufacturing.Technical knowledge in designing and developing engineering plans for doors and windows.Project management skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budget administration.Experience with methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma.Experience in system design and product development.Proficiency in engineering tools such as CAD, Grasshopper, and LogiKal.Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)



and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.Strong data analysis skills and KPI monitoring.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.Experience in risk management and quality control.Education & ExperienceDegrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Design.Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles
