Site Quality Manager Language Preference: Spanish & English Responsibilities: To resource and to lead the Site Quality Team to the agreed project and execution procedures.
The Site Quality Control Manager is responsible for establishing and monitoring the Project Site Quality program as follows: Manages the Site Quality organization, establishment, and implementation of a multi-discipline quality program.
Supervises Quality personnel who perform audit, inspection, surveillance and/or testing activities in accordance with the Project Quality program.
Staffs the project quality organization with qualified personnel.
Provides training to site personnel regarding the implementation of the construction quality control program.
Ensures that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures.
Formulates project quality policies.
Provides for the generation and approval of project quality procedures.
Coordinates with other project team personnel to ensure full implementation of the Project Quality program.
Ensures that construction contractors submit their Quality programs prior to commencing work and provides for review and approval of these programs.
Performs surveillance of contractors and suppliers to determine their conformance to programmatic, procurement, and design requirements.
Ensures that the required quality records and documents are properly prepared and maintained.
Performs surveillance of contractors to determine their conformance to their approved quality program.
Controls nonconforming work activities or hardware through the implementation of the non-conformance control procedure.
Reviews and assists in the resolution of non-conformance issues.
Advises the Site Manager of construction work activities when inadequate controls are in force to ensure compliance with project design requirements.
Provides specific direction of inspection and testing personnel in the performance of their duties.
Implements and monitors inspection and test plans implementation and modifies plans, as necessary, to maintain inspection continuity.
Leads and reviews inspection, testing and surveillance results, including backup data for content, validity and compliance with project requirements.
Reviews site procurement documents for delineation of quality requirements.
Maintains a file of inspection, examination, and test documents.
Identifies and maintains quality records required for Final Handover.
Prepares periodic reports to management summarizing QA/QC activities, concerns, Regional Quality KPIs statistics,
and Project Quality Statistics for the period including Closeout report.
Represents Company on QA/QC matters in dealing with the Contractors and their Sub-Contractors.
Approves all commitments during invoicing period from contractors at the jobsite within limits of assignment.
Authorities: All delegated authorities of the Site Quality Manager.
To be consulted on all matters of impact to Quality Control.
Key Safety & Quality Responsibilities: Remains knowledgeable of Company's Safety Policies and Procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established Safety Policies and Procedures and practice safe work habits.
