Sanofi is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented leader for the role of P&C; Data Governance and Master Data Management Leader .
This critical position is responsible for the management and governance of Workday position and organization data, as well as core taxonomy administration (jobs and skills), HR self-service report design, HR data governance, data lineage, data quality, and analytical support tools for People & Culture.
Main responsibilities Data Governance Leadership Oversee the governance and management of Workday position and organization data, ensuring alignment with Sanofi's strategic goals and P&C; objectives Establish and enforce data governance frameworks that uphold data quality, integrity, and compliance Master Data Management Lead the administration of core taxonomies, including organizations, positions, jobs and skills, ensuring that master data is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively supports business processes Manage data lineage and maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows and transformations Data Access Controls Manage the definition and configuration support to role-based security and reporting access rights in response to the P&C; Operating Model,
and taking into account data privacy as well as data classification requirements Data Quality Assurance Implement and oversee data quality management processes, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency across all workforce and employee datasets Develop and enforce data standards and policies to maintain data quality over time Analytical Support Provide strategic support for analytical tools and processes, ensuring that workforce and employee data is readily accessible and actionable Oversee HR Report design standards in Workday Facilitate listening activities through survey set-up and data engineering support teams Collaborate with analytics teams to enable data-driven decision-making across the P&C; function Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to data governance and master data management,
ensuring that data practices evolve to meet changing business needs Influence and lead global programs to enhance data management practices and outcomes Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with cross-functional teams, including Digital P&C; Products, the Digital Data Office, Finance, and all P&C; Centers of Excellence (CoEs), to ensure successful implementation of data governance and management strategies Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on data-related matters About you Experience Solid experience in data management, data governance, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing data management teams and processes Technical Expertise Deep technical knowledge of data management best practices, with proven experience in Workday position management, core taxonomy administration,
and data governance maturity model frameworks Domain experience with HR data management is essential Specific exposure to jobs and skills frameworks, as well as Workday's object model are preferred Leadership and Collaboration Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and influencing global data initiatives Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across digital, P&C; technology strategy, and P&C; CoE teams Strategic Vision Demonstrated ability to anticipate data management needs and lead the implementation of data governance strategies that align with business objectives Focus on continuous improvement and innovation in data practices Languages Fluent in English Why choose us?
