Project description We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead/Senior Project Manager to drive the migration and implementation of VoxSmart (a communication surveillance/supervision technology) for a client bank based in Spain who is looking to migrate all their Brazilian business into VoxSmart.
This role requires a deep understanding of compliance recording solutions, financial services regulations, and project management methodologies.
The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, ensure seamless system integration, and oversee regulatory compliance throughout the migration process.
Responsibilities Technical Leadership:
Oversee the technical integration of VoxSmart with existing banking systems and communication platforms.
Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure data governance and adherence to financial regulations.
Provide technical guidance on cloud, on-premise, and hybrid deployment models for VoxSmart.
Troubleshoot integration issues and work with VoxSmart support teams to resolve technical challenges.
Project Management & Strategy: Lead end-to-end migration and implementation of VoxSmart across multiple banking functions.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance, data security, and integration challenges.
Ensure stakeholder alignment by working closely with compliance, IT, legal, and operations teams.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure VoxSmart implementation aligns with global financial regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, FCA, SEC).
Implement data retention, monitoring,
and audit mechanisms to meet regulatory requirements.
Work with compliance teams to validate and test recording functionalities before full deployment.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, VoxSmart representatives, and third-party vendors.
Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance tracking.
Conduct training and workshops for employees on the effective use of VoxSmart for compliance recording.
Testing & Deployment: Ensure there are robust testing in place (SIT and UAT).
Establish performance benchmarks and conduct post-migration reviews.
Ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems without disruption to business operations.
SKILLS Must have (Must be Spanish Speaker) At least 7 years of relevant experience in VoxSmart migration/implementation,
especially as a technical lead/senior project manager within banking or financial services.
Proven track record in leading migration, implementation, or transformation projects.
Strong risk management and issue resolution capabilities.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure) & communication platforms (telephony systems, VoIP, and messaging platforms).
Understanding of API integrations, data encryption, and cybersecurity best practices.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of financial regulatory frameworks related to record-keeping, trade surveillance, and electronic communications monitoring.
Experience working with compliance and audit teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong communication, vendor management, stakeholder engagement,
and change management skills.
Ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving mindset with an ability to work under tight deadlines.
Nice to have Prior work experience with similar voice/data capture solutions.
Prior work experience in Brazilian business.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant scripting languages (preferred).
