Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Barcelona, Spain Mode of Work: (2-3 days in-office, remaining days remote) Experience: 10-12 years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technical projects focused on front-end applications and Java development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and project management, with expertise in Agile methodologies, front-end technologies, and Java-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, initiation, and execution of technical projects related to web-based applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, and Java.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to define project scope, goals,
and deliverables.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Coordinate project tasks and dependencies across multiple teams and departments to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor project progress, addressing issues and risks proactively to ensure successful completion.
Maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, design documents, and status reports.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings to ensure alignment with objectives and expectations.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and processes.
Mentor and coach team members on project management principles and practices.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager with 10-12 years of experience in managing technical projects focused on front-end applications and Java development.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks/libraries.
Strong expertise in Java/J2EE development.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
