SAP FICO R2R Senior Consultant Start Date: 2-3 Weeks (can wait a bit longer for the right candidate) Location: Remote (Based in Spain) with occasional travel within Spain Contract Type: 12-month contract (with potential extension to 1.5-2 years) Language Requirement: Fluent English Expenses covered for travel during key project stages (travel required less than 20% annually).
Project Overview: Critical rollout project involving the adaptation of an SAP solution already implemented in the UK, with localization gaps for the Spanish context.
Focus on seamless data migration, gap analysis, and effective collaboration across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design Implementation: Design, configure,
and implement SAP FICO solutions, focusing on R2R processes.
Ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with financial regulations.
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and recommend best-practice solutions.
System Configuration: Configure SAP modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize R2R processes, including financial reporting, intercompany transactions, consolidation, and period-end closing.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
Testing Validation: Develop and execute test plans (unit testing, integration testing, and UAT).
Ensure the quality and reliability of the delivered solution.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Support Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support,
troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely solutions to minimize downtime.
Key Requirements Technical Skills: Strong expertise in SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO).
Proven experience in R2R process implementation and optimization.
Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Familiarity with SAP integration tools (e.g., IDOCs, BAPIs).
Proficiency in debugging and resolving ABAP issues is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations with R2R focus.
Experience in data migration and cutover planning.
Industry experience in (Specify Industries like Manufacturing, Retail, Finance, etc.).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
