Responsibilities
Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join our dynamic Diagnostics Group. The qualified candidate will have relevant experience in design and an interest to assess existing structures with either an industrial or commercial structure focus.
The Senior Engineer/Project Manager will take on the responsibility of working with existing structures with a focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics related work. The engineer should have experience and interest in the areas of restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues, in addition to forensic engineering work.
The Senior Engineer will perform site visits throughout Mexico and/or the US as required.
The qualified candidate should also possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated project manager who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness when meeting client and project needs are required.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structures preferred
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
- Cedula Profesional
- Driver's license in Mexico
- Ability to proactively communicate with clients
- Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
- Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT)
- Structural engineering software (SAP, ETABS, RAM Concept)
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Strong customer service focus
