ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Global ESG Manager, the Global Environmental and Sustainability Specialist will drive Diaverum's commitment to achieving net zero by 2050.
You will lead Diaverum's corporate environmental strategy and net-zero transition priorities, ensuring a cohesive approach, a clear delivery plan, and effective progress monitoring and reporting.
The role involves advising and supporting departments to enhance sustainability practices, ensuring informed decision-making across the organization.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is central to this role, advancing sustainable healthcare solutions, reducing emissions, and promoting environmental responsibility.




You will also empower employees through training and awareness initiatives, fostering a company-wide culture of sustainability.
Preferred location: Spain, or any country in Europe where we operate.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy and Operational Responsibilities: Develop and implement Diaverum's corporate environmental strategy and net-zero transition priorities alongside setting relevant policies and standards for the organization to follow.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining GHG reduction initiatives.
Data Controlling Reporting: Strengthening carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2, and 3) in alignment with the GHG Protocol.
Enhance and automate existing systems and processes for monitoring and reporting GHG and environmental data.
Prepare the sustainability report, ensuring compliance with ESRS requirements for carbon,



energy, waste, and water data points.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with sectorial organizations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to accelerate progress toward net zero targets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Medical, Compliance, Corporate Communications) to implement GHG reduction programs.
ABOUT YOU: You have studies and qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's Degree in sustainability or environmental management is preferred.
You possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in multinational companies.
Experience in the healthcare sector is highly valued.
You bring direct experience in developing and implementing organization-wide environmental and GHG reduction strategies.




You have a strong understanding of EU reporting regulations (CSRD/ESRS) and are proficient in conducting greenhouse gas emissions inventories (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
You demonstrate strong data analysis and reporting skills and possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Knowledge in carbon reduction technologies and circular economy principles for the healthcare sector is a plus.
You are proficient in English, and additional language skills are a significant advantage.
You are skilled in using the MS Office package and exhibit strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
