Job Summary: The Sales Application Specialist (SAS) Transfusion is a mixed role that includes both sales and technical responsibilities.
The main tasks include actively promoting and selling our products and solutions while keeping track of the technical status of the instrumentation park, reagent stocks, and IT solutions.
The focus will be on Transfusion Centers, Blood Bank Labs, and Hematology.
The SAS Transfusion will provide customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs, creating a relationship of trust that brings value to both customers and the Company in the medium and long term.
Key Accountabilities: Achieve sales and commercial targets established by the Company.
Provide application support.
Support laboratory organization improvement through technical advice and solution offerings.
Encourage cross-selling by providing product information and introducing cost/efficiency balanced tailored techniques.
Present products and concepts to institutions, end-user groups, clinicians, and expert groups.
Create a network of trust within the organization and coordinate field visits with colleagues.
Organize instrument installations while interacting with various departments (Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing, etc.)
and perform product and service demonstrations.
Maintain the training level of users on instruments and reagents while managing appropriate documentation.
Collaborate with the KAM and Business Unit in managing opportunities and risks.
Monitor service levels offered by different departments to reduce the risk of complaints.
Provide troubleshooting for technical inquiries and solve product incidents in coordination with HelpLine, Technical Service, and Product Managers.
Manage tender specifications and profitability analysis,
preparation of necessary documentation, and litigation support.
Provide first-level (remote and/or on-site) technical support to customer accounts regarding products, applications, and operations, assisting them with system integration in their laboratories.
Ensure compliance with the Ethical Code.
Networking/Key Relationships: Key Account Manager Area Manager Business Unit (Business Unit Manager, Product Managers) Technical Support Team (Field Service Engineer, Helpline, Service Area Manager) IT Operations Team Logistics (Customer Service) Contracting Department Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.
PhD valuable.
Experience: Experience in sales and/or marketing within the IVD will be considered.
Experience in Immunohematology / Blood Bank.
Additional Skills/Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge in life sciences: Hematology.
Language: Fluent English.
