BorsodChem Zrt, a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, part of the Chinese Wanhua Group, is looking for a new colleague to fill the position of Business Development Manager Iberia.
Our new colleague will be responsible for Wanhua-Borsodchem's PU sales activity in the Iberian market, aiming for market position expansion through existing account management and continuous growth via new business development.
Responsibilities of our future colleague Represent the company to customers and market representatives with a professional and customer-oriented working attitude.
Maintain appropriate information flow between customers and internal organizations.
Customer relationship management through regular visits.
Cooperate with company colleagues and units supporting the Sales Manager to provide smooth service to the customer.
Market monitoring: Follow up on market tendencies, stay updated on changes in the industrial environment, and monitor relevant general market segment and/or customer-specific information and developments.
Support decision-making in strategic marketing and business management through proposals.
Planning, implementing, and reporting: Establish sales objectives, forecast, and develop an annual sales plan by regions and territories projecting expected sales volume and contribution margins.
Implement a sales program by developing a sales action plan.
Making offers and applying adequate pricing according to the sales strategy approved by relevant sales directors.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of general contracts and efficiency of the sales process by periods.
Fulfill the reporting obligation assigned by the supervising directors.
Act as the prime contact to all assigned customers, institutions,
and other associations in the designated territory.
Requirements: University Degree or at least 10 years experience in chemical sales.
At least 5 years experience in an international environment.
Marketing knowledge related to a given business area.
Strong communication skills with internal and external parties.
Ability to manage key accounts and engage in business development (hybrid function).
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Ability to work remotely.
Fluent in English and a native speaker in the language of the responsible region.
