Contract Working hours Full Time Work site Hybrid Technical Artist - Unreal Engine 5 For our office in Mallorca, Spain we are looking for an Unreal Engine 5 Technical Artist to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating, implementing and optimizing shaders, materials, VFX, lighting, and performance.

What will you bring with you:
Knowledge in the following areas in game development: Modelling & Texturing Scripting/Tools Development Lighting Shaders (GLSL/HLSL) VFX Rendering & Post Processing Rigging and Animation Strong understanding of Graphic Rendering Pipeline for next-gen technologies Background in 3D development software (e.g.
3DS Max, Maya, Blender) Experience working with Unreal 5 Engine Experience working with Source Control (Git, Perforce, Mercurial) Strong Technical Background on the Art Production Process and Workflows Programming Knowledge (C++, C#, Python, Maxscript) with strong Data Structures Proven working experience (3+ years) as a technical artist Understanding of project applications, preferably Jira Proficiency in written and spoken English Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills A good mood every day Who are you: - A true self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative - A highly self-motivated and positive communicator with strong work ethics - An excellent and flexible problem solver with an eye for detail - Experience in collaboration between artists and programmers, on and off site - Open to giving and receiving feedback.

Duties What will you be doing: - Setting up and maintaining production pipelines and workflow - Develop tools that will be used by the artists to improve and assist their work in production - Work with our artists and programmers to ensure that all the assets meet the technical requirements - Gatekeeper of Tech Art constraints, pushing for top quality visuals - Create materials, shaders, and VFX - Manage lighting and post-processing - Maintain performance and handling rendering optimization.
