We are hiring an IT Systems Engineer (Azure Cloud Servers) with a focus on managing Microsoft Azure workloads, Microsoft Servers, Azure stack, patching, and monitoring to expand, plan, and maintain the IT infrastructure.
The role involves: Designing and implementing new applications in the IT environment.
Resolving structural problems to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the IT infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
Ensuring optimal availability and adherence to agreed service levels.
Managing Windows servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO), SQL, Azure.
Standardizing processes: runbooks, documentation, designs, etc.
Creating Low-Level Design of cloud solutions, primarily Azure (AWS is a plus).
Offering second line support for incidents to prevent interruptions of IT services.
Investigating the IT environment proactively to propose necessary improvements.
Installing and updating procedures and designing configurations to ensure stability within agreed service levels.
Ensuring continuous service on a rotating basis to meet agreed service levels.
Conducting feasibility studies and assessing software and hardware solutions for the network/systems/security infrastructure.
Informing, training, and guiding 1st line support engineers for optimal system usage.
Staying informed about developments in the field to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Qualifications: Previous experience with public cloud platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure).
Fluent in English; proficiency in the local language is preferred (if applicable).
Well-organized with the ability to analyze IT problems quickly.
User-oriented with a strong customer focus.
Motivated to assist people with IT problems.
Good communicator, capable of understanding the business impact.
Able to work well in a team, both remotely and onsite.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in ICT or similar experience (5 years).
Remote working allowed, but a minimum of 1 day per week in the office in Barcelona is mandatory.
Ability to travel 15% in Europe.
