SAP HCM Payroll Consultant - German Speaking - Hybrid: 60% Remote Work / 40% On-Site in Madrid, Spain.

Our Energy Sector client, in Madrid, Spain, is looking to hire an experienced SAP PY (Payroll) Consultant to join their international team, supporting their digital transformation and HR modernization program, moving to SAP S/4HANA on PCE (Private Cloud Edition).
Experience needed: 5+ years of experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant (Any country's Payroll is ok - as client will provide training on the specific country Payroll needed).
Expertise in SAP Payroll, including configuration, schema, and rules.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
Proficiency in SAP Payroll tools (Payroll Control Centre, Wage Types, Personnel Calculation Rules).
Experience with end-to-end SAP Payroll.
Experience integrating SAP Payroll with external systems adds value.
Nice to have (but not mandatory) experience: SAP PT (Time Management/Personnel Time Management) experience.
Some Project Management experience.
The role involves: Contributing to the successful implementation and maintenance of SAP Payroll.
Analyze existing payroll systems to identify areas for improvement.
Supervise the configuration of the SAP Payroll to meet business requirements.
Assist in implementing payroll and time management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions or enhancements.
Provide end-user training and support during and after implementation.
Oversee the project's transition into operational mode and contribute to setting up a support model for ongoing service.
Manage system updates and SAP OSS notes while participating in related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and migrations.
Additional Information: German and English languages are required.
The role is based in Madrid, Spain (2 days per week on-site / 3 days remote).
