Planning and Strategy Senior Manager, Private Equity Renewable Energy, Mexico City, Mexico
**About our client**
We are working with a premier service provider of an exclusive fund management company focused on energy infrastructure assets throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Our client is looking for a Planning and Strategy Senior Manager, who can play an active role in all portfolio management, going through the financial, organizational and strategic aspects of each project. This position is based in Mexico City. **What the job involves**
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the project's goals and objectives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic direction and priorities
- Ensure that project initiatives contribute to the overall strategy
- Manage the organization's project portfolio, including prioritisation, resource allocation, budget, and risk assessment
- Evaluate project needs and recommend which ones to prioritize based on Theory of Constraints, strategic fit and resource availability
- Oversee the project timeline to ensure commitments are met as planned
- Establish key performance indicators for projects and programs
- Regularly assess project performance against KPIs and report to senior management
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support the preparation of materials for board meetings, stakeholders and investors
- Lead change initiatives by developing change management strategies
- Facilitate communication and engagement across the organization during transformation efforts
- Ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices
**Who we are looking for**
- Solid years of experience managing complex projects and portfolios,
with high proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, particularly in Theory of Constraints
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, actuary sciences, financial management or similar field
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Analytical thinker and detail oriented
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a must
- Availability to travel when needed
