Under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Network LAN Wi-Fi LATAM lead based in IT-LATAM HUB MEX, the Operations Specialist is responsible for Planning and Operation/Execution of CAPEX,
OPEX, Inventory, RFQ's for Hardware purchase, Support Contracts and site Survey Infra / WiFi, Contracts, Obsolescence Replacement and Customer Satisfaction (NPS) and Compliance Dashboard.
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective and efficient operational support of the aligned products for LAN in LATAM.
S/He is also responsible for support operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the delivery of Planning and execution of LAN CAPEX: like alignment with Market ITFRM/Finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, escalations and etc.
- Ensure the Planning and execution of LAN OPEX: alignment with finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, etc.
- Ensure the LAN Inventory management: Inventory process execution like Ticket opening, check point controls, status reports of assets in use and in stock.
- Execute the Compliance KPIs Dashboard, publish results,
align action plan with team Compliance SPOC and ensure the ARCHER controls update.
- Execute elaboration and negotiation of RFP's for LAN hardware purchase, LAN maintenance and support contracts and Infra/Wifi surveys.
- Execute Purchase Orders coordination with Markets (creation request, follow-up, budget)
- Support IS/IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitments
- Support the relationship with suppliers for on-going daily operation and Markets.
- Support Planning and coordination of yearly obsolescence replacement in all sites.
- Support NPS survey yearly execution and perform analysis of NPS results and coordination of remediation actions to improve service
- SPOC with internal towers and suppliers for matters aforementioned
- Runs small-scale projects for sustain and hardware obsolecense replacements.
**Required Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in IS/IT, preferably working in a DevOps environment
- Experience in service management principles and execution
- Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
- Experience explaining technical concepts and technologies
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
