**Senior Instructional Designer - Remote**

Primarily responsible for translating internal and external customer needs into training and resources that will achieve maximum transfer of benefit at delivery, with measurable impact to quality and customer satisfaction.
Person must understand the big picture of call center performance requirements and design training to meet those need.
Person will mentor Instructional Designers through reviews and coaching sessions and will support the Project Manager with curriculum design and development progress.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Project Lead**
- Reviews curriculum and assists Project Manager (PM)



with project analysis and curriculum schedule design
- Reviews all Instructional Design (ID) project deliverables (such as Course Overviews, FGs, CDDs, DDDs) to ensure quality, as well as content completeness, accuracy, and consistency across the project
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize and accurately document correct and incorrect (good vs. poor) elements of course design
- Recognizes adherence to blended learning standards and design template conventions and standards
- Reviews ID deliverables and completes the appropriate design document review checklists
- Provides constructive feedback and follows up with ID to ensure revisions are made
- Completes and maintains Project Style Sheet template for projects
- Participates in Subject Mater Expert (SME) reviews
- Assists with course development when needed
- Assists PM with project launch tasks
- Attends and assists with leading project train the trainer sessions

**ID Coaching & Support**
- Identifies when ID coaching sessions are necessary; schedules and conducts in a timely manner




- Documents and reports on ID progress to Design & Development Manager
- Assists with the maintenance of ID checklists, templates, and other design tools
- Attends and actively participants in monthly calibration sessions

**Communication**
- Communicates appropriately and professionally with all project participants, including:
- SMEs
- Other Lead IDs
- Other IDs on the project
- PMs
- QA
- Media
- Design & Development Manager
- Communicates issues and delays to Design & Development manager and PM
- Facilitates SME review calls/sessions on behalf of PM, as needed
- Reaches out to team members when appropriate

**Administrative**
- Completes all deliverables on time
- Facilitates/attends project meetings on time
- Completes all recording keeping tasks on time: Timebook, Kronos, SharePoint Project Tracking Status, etc.
**Initiative**




- Shows initiative in beginning new client projects
- Researches source materials and works with the PM and SMEs to ensure materials are the most recent and up to date
- Raises questions and concerns with the PM and SMEs if content appears to be incorrect or no longer relevant
- When peer reviewing ID deliverables, reviews source documents to become familiar with content; checks for content accuracy

**New Hire Training**
- Assists with the facilitation of ID new hire orientation and training, when needed
- Monitors new hire progress and mentors through first project

**Project Management**
- Works with project IDs, Media, QA, and PM to keep courses moving through development

**Job Specifications**:

- At least two years in a training and quality environment, including a combination of training design and development,



training delivery and quality specialist experience.
- SME - level knowledge of call center / CRM practices
- Understanding of adult learning theory and curriculum design
- Ability to understand the business issues of the client and design quality and training solutions toward these ends
