JOB SUMMARY
Experienced analyst with a deep knowledge of payments industry standards and best practices, with a good understanding of customer specific business and customer facing skills.
The Business Analyst involves extensive customer interaction and service and acts as a focal point for customers and internal teams/services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing detailed business requirements (user stories) and functional solutions.
- Customer requirements analysis and effort estimations, participate in client workshops.
- Knowledge transfer to customer and internal stakeholders.
- Business support to delivery teams throughout the entire software implementation process and after.
- Focal point for customers and internal teams/services
- Provide accurate and consistent statuses and reporting on different levels.
- Deep knowledge of GPP products line.
- Deep knowledge of Finastra software delivery and implementation procedures and relevant methodologies.
- Involvement in the projects, throughout the development and implementation lifecycle, to ensure the actual implementation meets the requirements.
- Writing internal 'How-to' guides, training materials, and end-user documentation.
GENERAL PROFILE:
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Solves complex problems; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information (e.g.
oversight of data aggregation, leadership of client implementation processes, etc.).
- Works independently, receives mínimal guidance.
- Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams - typically has end to end accountability for assigned processes or products.
- Seasoned professional" level at which career may stabilize for many years.
Functional Knowledge/ Business Expertise
- Has in-depth payments industry knowledge and expertise working with FedWires, Swift, Nacha and TCH Payments.
- Understands regulatory changes and support clients in preparation and implementation of such changes.
- Understands how their own area integrates with others to deliver results
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and structures key trade-off decisions.
Experience
5 years of experience writing business requirements and functional specifications in the Transaction Banking / Banking industry.
Demonstrated success in implementing projects in a cross functional team environment.
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Business analyst certification is a plus.
Clearing certification is a plus.
Proficient in English.

The base salary for this position is in the range of $45,000 to $50,000 MX pesos gross salary + legal benefits.
Hybrid model in offices in CDMX.
