The Project Controlling team of North America has an opportunity for a BUSINESS FINANCE SR ANALYST role based in our Mexico City, Polanco office, supporting our Services Businesses in Mexico & Central America .
What do you get to do in this position?
- Secure accurate P&L; & Balance Sheet (Technical) in compliance with Accounting & Group rules through: - P&L;: Monthly margin analysis and month end adjustments (e.g.
cost accruals, revenue deferrals).
Ensure correct application of revenue recognition methods by contract type (eg: Completion, POC, straight line) in collaboration with Corporate Accounting.
- Balance sheet (e.g.
inventory, provisions): Monthly analysis and sanity checks (eg: aging analysis, reconciliations)
and documentation/justification of balance sheet positions.
- No surprises.
Predictability is key - Drive Financial Results (Business Partnering) with Business Operations and Controllers through: - P&L; management support - Monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Prior Year & Forecasts) and support forecasting process.
Proactive communication of P&L; impacts and areas of attention.
- Inventory optimization: Monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Target) and support forecasting process.
Co-drive Inventory reduction action plans.
- We achieve Together - Achieve Results and how we do it is equally important - Drive Finance Transformation (Lead Change) - Enhance efficiency & effectiveness through:- Standardization and simplification of Finance processes & tools.
- Leverage support from Competency Centers.
- Support New ERP deployment Qualifications Qualifications / Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related, and/or an accounting qualification - 3 years of Project & Cost Accounting experience - Fluent in English language (spoken and written)
- Strong communication skills, ability to engage all levels of organization and to build effective partnerships accross teams - Proactive, Autonomus, process oriented, attention to details and hands-on approach - Transformation and Digital mindset to drive effiencies - Proficient in excel, knowledge in SAP (FI module) and Data management & visualization tools (eg: SQL, Tableau, etc) Schedule: Full-time Req: 009AFV
