DESCRIPTION
As Project Management Office (PMO) for ACES Team, you are responsible for driving organizational alignment and the execution of large, complex and inter-disciplinary programs across multiple verticals (program, product, and tech) at a country scale. You will serve as integrator connecting work streams that would otherwise remain siloed; and as communicator linking the leadership team and the broader organization to create and drive holistic strategies and standard processes.
This leader dive deep into program details, understand team capabilities and limitations, and make critical decisions about how to handle numerous stakeholder requests. The leader has exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
can independently produce highly polished documents, and are trusted to present to Country Leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and manage the lifecycle of new and existing programs/initiatives, successfully delivering concurrent complex projects aligned with business objectives
- Engage the right stakeholders, customers, and partner teams to communicate with and impact critical business initiatives, and craft and deliver cross-functional, scalable solutions
- Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical and/or operational constraints
A day in the life
A day in the life of the PMO may include coordinating with stakeholders, tracking progress against business goals and metrics, and managing program initiatives. You will represent the ACES Team, ensuring the on-time, and to the highest standard execution of all projects. Daily tasks may be comprised of coordinating with cross-functional partners on project status and projected changes,
ensuring stakeholders are meeting their agreed upon milestones, seeking to standardize solutions throughout the processes, and utilizing Amazon tools to record and manage program progress and other key developments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
