JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyze and prioritize projects to ensure Customer needs and business objectives are achieved.
- Provide effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Organize, prioritize, and oversees daily workload in order to complete assigned projects in a timely fashion. Acts a resource in problem solving daily operation.
- Give response time to project requests in accordance with the Applications Engineer.
- Manage the performance of all directs reports within the department.
- Manage operational schedule of Applications Engineers to set delivery dates.
- Provide direct reports with effective leadership through development and implementation of daily/weekly work plan, effective communication, provide necessary training, recognize and reward good performance, identify performance deficiencies and take corrective action when necessary.
- Lead Digital Transformation Strategy being in charge of all the Idea Labs resources, interacting with Marketing & Innovation teams to create a differentiated virtual experience with Customers.
- Ensure Customer (Internal & External) Experience during all Idea Labs interactions.
- Contribute to the assessment of laboratory capabilities required to enable the growth of the business.
- Identify new technologies, ingredients, materials and processes that provide operational and strategic improvements.
- Determine short term and long-term lab needs to support solutions development and customer experience.
- Maintain supplies and make sure those necessary for laboratory functions are available. Preserve laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards.
- Continually check market trends,
consumer insights and customer need to identify new business opportunities and propose new ingredient solutions. Create solid relationships with customers to detect new product ideas and translate them into a competitive advantage for the company.
- Ability to exhibit teamwork, and take active steps to promote a good environment amongst the team and the lab in general.
- Establish training plans to improve technical skills and competences to achieve the best performance.
- Idea Labs primary contact both internally and externally for a broad range of inquiries.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in sciences and technical specialization in food area.
- MBA and / or MS is a plus.
- 3 + years’ experience in a technical team preferably in Applications, Product Devel
