**WHAT TO EXPECT**
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Toluca Plant, you will be a Manufacturing Engineer
- The Process Engineer is charge of design the manufacturing process focus in safety, quality, cost and customer requirements, and development, documentation,



implementation and training of standard operating methods that meet the requirements and customer specifications (SOP's, Standard Work Sheets). Working instructions should be derived Control Plan, FMEA and Flow Diagram.
- Control, design, redesign and implementation of layout (distribution) of each operation, process or manufacturing cell aimed at optimizing the handling and movement of materials, add value in the use of space and facilitate continuous and synchronized flow materials.
- Measuring of Cycle Time of products in order to define labor cost, ORACLE Master Routes (Standard maintenance time per product.), balance Capacity according to process demand and Balance & define de quantity labor requirement for each manufacturing cell.
- Productivity Measurement and monitoring continuous Project Development Productivity increase.
- Development of tools, devices, racks and accessories production for compliance with safety standards, quality, ergonomics, ecology, materials handling FIFO, and customer requirements.




**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- Provide technical support to the BU and operator on the production line.
- Development and Evaluation of Risk Analysis and ergonomic operations, equipment and processes.
- In charge of EP system (Control and development Poka Yoke of quality and safety).
- Leadership of GPS, 6 sigma, Lean manufacturing, Safety, Investment projects (Justification, develop and execution) and Productivity projects.
- Responsible of the Plant lay out.
- New products (Design the Process flow, standardized work, process parameters, Control Plan, Standard Operation procedures, capacity manufacture, cycle time by product, resources needed).
- Calculate and determine cycle times by product equipment and operation,



determine and identify the bottlenecks of manufacturing cells.
- Justification and determination of MO for cyclic and non-cyclic operations
- Establishment and maintenance of standard time per product.
- Justification of Investment Projects due to increased capacity, productivity, reduced cost of MO, waste, defective, materials, etc.
- Development of tools, devices, racks and production accessories for compliance with safety standards, quality, ergonomics, ecology, material handling "FIFO" and customer requirements.
- Lean manufacturing tools implementation (VSM, 5'S, STW, SMED, EP, Kanban).
- Cost Control Operation with; 6 Major losses and Down time analysis, Direct and indirect labor budgeting, develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas based in standard times,



labor variation reduction and labor absorption. (BOR).
- Process Control (Error proofing process and implementation devices)
- Responsible to define the std. costs of Labor, Standard times, Usage cell and usage mold.
- Balance operations, Process controls, Standard operations procedures, Standard work sheets, Productivity and Capacity analysis.
- Responsible of the Supplier Capacity Study to all customer (Covisint Portal ; FORD, FCA, Chrysler, etc. & VW). GD&T; Certification.
- Risk Level Reduction in Operational Risk Analysis, through improvement safety conditions of process, equipment (design of safety devices and equipment and Ergonomics projects.).
- Researches new equipment, and technologies, in order to improve manufacturing processes.




- Provide technical support to the operators on the production line.
- CCM USE & PROGRAMING
- CNC USE & PROGRAMING
- Contribute to achieve plant goals such as: KOIs of the Area, CI and savings projects
- Improvement ideas; improve and sustain Quality and Safety goals.
- IATF16946/OHSAS (core tools) knowledge.
- Layered Process Audit completion for the BU on he or she belongs.
- Adequate usage of Gates' resources (associates, machinery, materials, etc.)
- Keep a good relationship with the associates and with the union.
**ABOUT YOU**
- 2 - 4 years of experience on the same position
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Mechatronic Engineering.
- 70% Bilingual English - Spanish
