**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
This role is responsible for manage, analyze, record and ensure accounting information of Fixed Assets prepare and facilitate executive reports for Business units in Europe in due term in an accurate and comprehensive manner. Also this position is responsible to guarantee that no material issues will be affecting NOPBT due to ineffective accounting/adjustments/judgments Accountable for governance relating to Fixed Assets through ensuring processes are in place and adherence to PepsiCo policies. Data custodian for all Fixed Asset records within ERP system.
The role entails interaction with the business units’ control teams and outsourced delivery teams.

**Control & Reporting Fixed Assets Jr Analyst**
***your functions would consist of:
- Accountable for capital project accounting
- Review and capitalization of construction in progress
- Monitor and track capital projects and budget spending
- Accountable for Intercomany process
- Execute and process inter-company borrowing transactions
- Review of explanations and resolution of out-of-balance
- Confirmation to counter parties and follow-up of reconciling
- Runs depreciation/amortization steps in SAP as part of closing agenda/checklist.
- Validate write/off / sales proposals for FA
- Validation of physical inventory results
- Accountable for Fixed Assets accounting
- Ensure that all asset transfers, additions, disposals, adjustments, enhancements, revaluations are updated and processed accurately




- Ensure correct valuation of fixed assets to avoid misstatement in the financial statements
- Review of master data changes
- Prepare / Review journals entries
- Work closely with the Bank Recs Team to settle intercompany balances on a regular basis and hedge any material FX exposures to reduce exchange rate risks.
- Complete BS reconciliation and Balance Sheet Review
- Ensure FA are in place and compliant with PepsiCo P&P.;
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to meet PepsiCo requirements
- Support Ops Controller in order not to have additional exceptions for external audit (KPMG).
- Ensure compliance to Global Control Standards (GCS) and ensure that key controls achieve “effective” on a quarterly basis
Qualifications:

**Education**
- University degree,



preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education
**Experience**
- Financial technical skills achieved through experience or accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Work experience **2+** years of proven experience in a similar position
- SAP knowledge;
- Knowledge of US GAAP and / or Local GAAP
- Bilingual (Spanish/English). 90% English (writing, reading, conversation)
- Developing and managing own agenda
- Extremely well-developed communication skills
- Results and deadlines orientated person
- Ability to lead multiple task forces at the same time, while designing and /or implementing new finance processes in a flexible and interchanging environment
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments in order to adhere to strict deadlines




- Can work unsupervised and directly answer top management ad hoc requests
- Intellectual capacity to link accounting concepts to underlying financial data systems in order to understand, analyse and interpret actual results and troubleshoot any issues with the data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project); ability to create complex formulas in Excel
- Experience of Financial Reporting Systems and Databases e.g.,SAP/ Oracle
