This position focuses on engaging with governments,
regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders to advocate for policies that align with the company's goals while promoting public health interests.
The role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, regulatory frameworks, and the ability to navigate complex political environments.

This position is critical for ensuring the company's reputation is maintained, its business practices are transparent, and that relationships with various external stakeholders, such as government entities, regulatory bodies, media, and the public, are strong and positive.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Strategic Leadership in Corporate Communications:
- Lead the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies to support the company's objectives, ensuring alignment with corporate values and business goals.
- Oversee the development of key messages, speeches, press releases,
and official statements from the company.
- Serve as the company's spokesperson, or manage media relations, to address the public or media on critical issues.

Public Affairs and Government Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, legislators at the local, national, and international levels and regulatory bodies to influence healthcare policies, drug regulations, and reimbursement frameworks.
- Monitor and provide strategic advice on legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the company's business operations or products.
- Advocate on behalf of the company to shape healthcare policies that foster innovation and patient access to treatments.
- Represent the company in meetings with policymakers to discuss key issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry, such as drug pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare reform.
- Advocate for the company's position on critical issues, such as patent laws, generic drug policies, and health technology assessments (HTA).

Crisis Management and Policy Response:
- Lead the company's crisis communication strategy during times of public scrutiny, product recalls, regulatory issues, or any event that could negatively affect the company's reputation.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential public relations crises, ensuring that the company responds promptly and effectively.
Develop strategies to address policy-related crises, such as sudden regulatory changes, drug pricing controversies, or shifts in healthcare funding.
- Serve as a key spokesperson in policy-related discussions during crises, working closely with the corporate communications team to manage public perception and government relations.

Advocacy Campaigns:
- Lead and manage advocacy campaigns designed to influence specific policy decisions or legislative changes at local, national, and global levels.
- Coordinate with external consultants, lobbyists, and PR firms to enhance the impact of advocacy efforts.
- Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies based on feedback from stakeholders and changes in the political environment.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability:
- Drive the company's CSR and sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards and societal expectations.
- Oversee programs that demonstrate the company's commitment to ethical business practices, patient access, and environmental sustainability.
6.
Internal Communications and Culture Building:
- Lead initiatives to foster strong internal communications that support employee engagement, organizational culture, and alignment with corporate goals.
- Ensure consistent communication to all employees on key company developments, changes, and priorities.
7.
Stakeholder Engagement: and Coalition Building:
- Engage with industry associations, think tanks, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other external stakeholders to promote shared policy goals.
- Facilitate dialogues and partnerships with patient advocacy groups and healthcare organizations to ensure that the company's policy positions consider patient and public health perspectives.
