We are currently looking for a Global Sea Logistics Trade Specialist based in our Mexico City office.
** Your Role**: To be responsible for responding to tenders and RFQs, overall responsible for end-to-end pricing.
To develop relationships with carriers to achieve best possible rates, allocation, and service.
To interface with customers to provide product and market expertise To stay informed of market conditions and communicate these conditions and expectations with customers and make informed price decisions.
** Your Responsibilities**:- Determine pricing levels for tenders- Ensure all negotiated rates are timely and correct updated in SeaRates- Monitor and analyse local charges- Maximise profit by enhancing the usage of named accounts (for example, negotiating more competitive rates fornamed accounts)- Enhance interaction with countries assigned to understand the local market & challenges faced.
To further developand support countries on all Sea logistics related issues, together with trade Manager and Captains.- For Global cargo is under the responsibility to make sure that the Routing guide is correct and uploaded in our teamgroup.- For local RFQ the internal file should have award volume, buying and sale rate, including conditions and terms.- Set Trade specific policies, standards, and instructions- Build good rapport with carriers to gain more support on our requirements- Ensure lines of communication between Kuhen Nagel and carriers are always open and active- Work with KN carriers on a continuous basis to ensure that all contracts are up to date, clean and cover all cargo thatthey are assigned to cover.
