National health and safety manager
Role of the position
Support the assistant Director of H&S; and the Head of C.S. from the country
Plan, manage ando coordinate Safety and Hygiene, prevention, as well as the safety of employees in cases of emergency in HSBc buildings in Mexico, thus ensuring a high level of preparation for a timely and effective response in emergency situations, emergency that allows to protect the safety of all employees, customers and contractors. Coordinate brigades and ensure that the properties have elements (human and material) that allow us to provide an adequate response.
Activities
- Development, implementation and updating of emergency plans,



which allow safeguarding the safety and integrity of all employees in Group buildings through commissions, brigades and drills.
- Implement and/or keep updated the emergency brigades for each of the properties.
- Plan and coordinate the performance of drills in each of the buildings, to protect the integrity of customers and employees.
- Development and implementation of the Audit program for fire protection and civil protection equipment in buildings, to ensure that they are in optimal conditions and in view of all users to act in a timely and effective manner in the event of any emergency or contingency. present at the national level.
- Supervise the development and updating of the Emergency Programs of the HSBC Mexico Buildings.
- Develop and implement the Training program (together with HR) for Brigade members of HSBC Mexico buildings as well as for FM, Maintenance, Security, etc. personnel.
Participate with files, reports and metrics in the different forums for risk and/or review of supplier KPIs.
- Attend the inspections of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (Safety and Hygiene)



and Federal Civil Protection, as well as support the relief of points in the different inspections of Municipalities, Mayors, States in matters of Civil Protection, Health and Environment.
- Coordinate the test program for the different fire systems in the buildings.
- Keep the electronic page of H&S; (intranet) updated (database, courses, workshops, accident reports, etc.)
- Coordinate and support the appointment of a property manager for each of the HSBC buildings.
- Verify compliance with Safety and Hygiene in the Development of events (Global and Local) related to the Promotion of Safety, Hygiene and Civil Protection in the representative buildings of HSBC at a national level, as well as the Marshal event, etc.
- Act as a point of contact (and follow up) on reports on Ergonomics issues in the Global Group tool.




- Follow up on the Group's Regulations tool and alert about new provisions and/or regulations that are published and applied to HSBC.
- Oversee that the Safety, Hygiene, Civil Protection, Comfort and ergonomics conditions are observed and complied with at HSBC facilities.
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Have the knowledge of Safety, Hygiene and Civil Protection and related equipment to determine which are the most convenient, according to the needs of the properties, as well as based on safety and costs.
- Be in constant training and updating in accordance with the laws and training to implement the best security measures. Have timely information on disturbing phenomena to prevent or respond to any emergency situation effectively.
- Have knowledge of government procedures to comply with official requirements on the matter.




- Ability to give training courses, as well as the ability to control situations under pressure or danger in order to transmit security to employees or users of the properties.
- Leadership ability, service attitude, teamwork and permanent adaptation to change (desirable knowledge of Agile methodology)
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
- Proven experience of functional test automation and test tools and management practices,
- Proven technical experience in the development of fire protection systems.
- Risk management and mitigation experience;
- Good knowledge of the service delivery methods used in the Group;
- Demonstrated ability to manage medium-sized teams and delegate authority;
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders;




- Successful project management and personnel management;
- Extensive knowledge of local and international regulations (NFPA), and of the different fire-fighting systems.
- Exposure to all stages of the fire system implementation process, from specification and design to development and testing, to implementation and training.

- Ability to prioritize work to successfully deliver service at agreed levels in the diverse and constantly changing technical environment;
- Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors or remote work personnel in testing activities;
- Effectively coordinate service delivery which includes items delivered by other internal/external teams;
