Meet the Team Join Cisco's Global Technical Center (TAC) as part of the Data Center Routing and Switching (DCRS) team within our Customer Experience—Support Services organization.
Our mission is to help customers deploy, operate, and fix their networks by applying industry-leading troubleshooting techniques and deep technical expertise to optimize their Cisco solutions.
As part of our team, you will take on complex networking challenges, requiring a solid grasp of advanced routing and switching protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, MPLS, MST, and vPC.

Your Impact As a TAC Engineer in our DCRS team, you will:
Support customers remotely, solving sophisticated challenges in live environments.Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to craft outstanding solutions tailored to each customer's needs.Collaborate with engineering and development teams to resolve critical issues.Reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported problems in lab environments.Minimum Qualifications Possess 3+ years in technical support experience in the following areas:Routing & Switching Expertise (Design, Implementation, Troubleshooting)Use of Wireshark, Packet Analyzer, and other tools for TCP/IP packet analysisHands-on experience with at least 4 of the following:Layer 2 Technologies: STP, vPC, FabricPathNetwork Management Protocols: PTP, NTP, DNS, DHCPQuality of Service: Queuing, policing, shapingLayer 2 Security: Port security, private VLANs, ACLsLayer 3 Security: ACLs, DAI, IP Source Guard, RPFVRF Routing, Multicast Protocols (PIM, IGMP, Auto-RP, BSR)Overlays: VXLAN,
EVPN, OTV, MPLS, Segment RoutingAPI-based Network Automation (REST APIs, NETCONF, YANG)Python Scripting & Network AutomationFabric Controller tools: DCNM/ NDFCPossess an English level equivalent to B2 or higher. Be able to attend the office at least 2 - 3 days per week. Preferred Qualifications Possesses a bachelor's degree in a technical field (such as Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication)Expertise in Cisco Nexus Platforms (N9K, N7K, N5K, N3K)Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) TroubleshootingIndustry Certifications: CCNA Enterprise, CCNP (Enterprise or Data Center), CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center)#WeAreCisco Our purpose, driven by our people,
