This is just the start… We are looking for:We're in search of a skilled Senior Accountant who will be a critical member of the finance organization, with a broad set of responsibilities.
The successful candidate has a strong foundation in technical accounting (specifically revenue recognition) and is able to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to be intimately involved in all aspects of the company is essential and critical to the role.
Being a Senior Accountant at Agentero means:Perform the monthly closing process through trial balance preparation, ensuring timely completion of monthly close checklists and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual external financial statements, on a comparative basis against budget and prior year, as well as any other reports, reconciliations, analyses, and MD&A; as requested by management or the board of directors.Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly,
and annual internal financial and profitability reports to departments, cost centers, and product lines.Manage daily, weekly, and monthly financial transaction processing of vouchers, disbursements, payroll, benefits, fixed assets, cash, credit cards, debt, equity, stock options, and general ledger.Maintain general ledger/chart of accounts.Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls, as required, which address transactions with vendors, employees, payroll and treasury, and general ledger.
Use best practices to increase transactional efficiency.Prepare journal entries by analyzing and interpreting financial transactions.Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations,
and reconciliations of support ledgers to general ledger and cashflow reports.Provide monthly and quarterly reporting of financial analytics and business metrics versus business plan/budget to management.Interface with third-party auditors to ensure timely audit/review including development of supporting schedules and compliance with internal controls
