Proficient in C#, Python, Ignition Platform, and WPF.
Expertise in integrating physical systems with SCADA, MES,
and ERP interfaces.What you'll do:Collaborate with teammates to maintain robust, modular machine control code and optimize electrical subsystems for synthesis tools.Assist cross-functional teams in deploying software for next-generation synthesis tools.Enhance and refine internal software libraries used across the organization, from research to production-scale applications.Debug and optimize hardware and equipment-driving software throughout the company.Gather end-user feedback and translate it into actionable improvements.Transition existing WPF HMIs to the Ignition Platform for modernized interfaces.What you'll need:BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering and 5 years of industry experience.Extensive experience with high-level, object-oriented programming with C# or Python.Experience building applications using Ignition Platform,
WPF and XAML front-ends.Experience deploying code on systems that interact with the physical world (IoT / IIoT).Experience with revision control software such as Git.Understanding of how to integrate machines with facility/business interfaces (SCADA, MES, ERP).Nice to have:Experienced in designing high-performance HMIs, including UI/UX design and developing the underlying code.Ability to write Structured Text and familiarity with other IEC 61131-3 languages.Knowledge of Safety programs such as TwinSAFE.High-level understanding of field-deployed electronics, sensors, and motion components.Knowledge and implementation of industrial Fieldbus communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, EthernetIP, Modbus, etc.)
and communication protocols such as OPC and MQTT.Experience with unique and challenging industrial electrical safety requirements.Develop meaningful, robust unit tests for machines and document them rigorously.Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Why you'll love working here:Remote work:
