MHP Management and IT Consulting México just started operations in October with over thirty team members.
The headquarter is in Guadalajara, where we are working in a modern office environment with a flexible hybrid model.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Software Product Development who will build up and lead our agile software development teams in Mexico.
In this role, you will not only provide technical leadership but also shape the strategic direction of our software solutions by actively contributing as a Solution Architect or Lead Developer.
This is a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge product development teams, foster top-tier engineering talent, and drive meaningful impact in a rapidly growing organization.Tasks and Responsibilities:Build & Scale Product Teams: Ramp-up, mentor, and manage product development teams, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive innovation and efficiency.Leadership and Mentoring: Leader and role model for other Software Engineers and teams at the highest level.
Communication with stakeholders, management, and C-level decision-makers.Architecture and Development: Actively participate as Solution Architect or Lead Developer in one of the teams to design and implement innovative and scalable software solutions.Technical Vision and Strategy: Implement the technical vision and strategy of our unit, defining technical standards and influencing the direction of projects and products,
evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of product development.Quality Assurance: Ensure the high quality of our software products by implementing and monitoring best practices in software development.Mentoring and Coaching: Support and develop team members through regular feedback, training, and mentoring.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate software solutions with broader business initiatives.Requirements:Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role such as team lead or technical lead.Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software architecture and cloud-based software development.
Expertise in agile methodologies and best practices,
with a strong willingness and ability to tackle complex problems.
Proven track record of building and scaling software teams.Technical Skills: Broad experience in programming languages and technologies.Expertise in cloud development, with required proficiency in AWS services and serverless architecture
