As an Import/Export Coordinator II, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring compliance with cross-border trade regulations.
You will serve as a key advisory contact for both internal and external stakeholders while fostering a Culture of Compliance.
Your expertise will allow you to anticipate needs, identify risks, and optimize processes.
Your primary duties will include managing and supporting international shipments for partners and customers, coordinating export activities with forklift operators, processing internal requisitions and sales orders, scheduling shipments, liaising with freight forwarders, and managing international shipping documentation.




This position reports directly to the Trade Compliance Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation and dispatch of customer export orders, ensuring efficient air and surface transportation to final destinations.
- Manage all import, export, customs, and documentation-related activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and freight carriers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Ensure all export documentation is accurate and provided to customers to prevent delays.
- Maintain compliance with domestic and international customs regulations and trade laws.
**Primary Duties**:

- Support the Supply Chain team in expediting the importation of raw materials, spare parts, and equipment.
- Determine the correct customs tariff classification for imported/exported goods and monitor updates to the USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
- Work closely with customs brokers and carriers to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods.
- Monitor customs brokers' and carriers' performance, administer KPIs, and generate reports.




- Assist the Import-Export department with documentation preparation.
- Oversee company certifications and compliance with trade programs such as C-TPAT.
- Validate customs broker invoices and resolve compliance-related issues in collaboration with customs brokers.
Experiência y requisitos

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade or Business Administration.
- In lieu of a degree, six years of experience in Logistics, Customs, Traffic, or Supply Chain will be considered.
**Skills & Competencies**:

- Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle/SAP, and maquiladora control software.
- In-depth knowledge of traffic & logistics, customs laws, and IMMEX/C-TPAT regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.




- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (90% proficiency required).
