JOB PURPOSE PC is growing very fast in Latin America and especially in Mexico due to a pipeline of SC projects that need special focus to deliver the ambition plan with Superior Products and coordinate the supplier program for the Mexican factories.
The main responsibility for this role is to define quality requirements relevant to the model, co-create process and ways-of-working, provide technical support and create PQS for new SKUs; as well as ensure that applicable Unilever quality and innovation frameworks and tools are being followed.
The Innovation Quality will interface with all relevant functions and areas (incl.
Marketing, R&D;, Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sourcing Units, Planning, Receiving Units, Procurement, local, regional, and global Quality teams) to guarantee alignment and engagement in all quality-related activities.
Regarding the supplier program, must coordinate and lead follow-up meetings with suppliers, supplier audits, monitoring and closing of CAPAs, as well as prepare the needed reports for stakeholders.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE Quality Innovation Provide quality inputs for business decision-making forums.
Support Unilever Quality strategy, governance, and goals through specific projects and targets.
Define and implement end-to-end quality requirements for new business models and new channels.
Responsible for quality management of Mexico designated innovations, renovations, and savings projects and products for Unilever sourcing units and External Partners.
Coach and support project leaders on risk management for Innovation, renovation, and savings projects.
Provide support on continuous improvement for innovation framework and tools.
Support and drive Incident Root Cause analysis.
Facilitate quality data analysis related to projects and innovations.
Supplier Lead and coordinate the follow-up of supplier action plans.
Coordinate supplier audits from a quality point of view.
Prepare CAPA reports and Gaps closure.
Lead transformation together with suppliers to improve quality.
Lead the Material PQS creation and implementation for key suppliers.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Education: Desirable: Degree level in Business, Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Foods Science), or Engineering discipline.
Languages: English: Upper Intermediate
Spanish: Native or fluent
Profile: Great interpersonal relationships and strong team player.
Ability to influence other groups or functions.
Managing own workload and project planning.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to different situations.
Openness to experimentation, new tools, and digitalization.
Problem-solving and continuous improvement processes.
Project Management.
HACCP, GMP, ISO, Hygiene, allergen management.
