General Information: Reporting to the Head of Engineering of North America, Hitachi Energy is seeking an Operations Center Manager who will implement the Hub and Business Unit strategy and ensure business development in the operations center.
Responsibilities: You will build an organization of professional multi-discipline project engineers to execute Grid and Power Quality projects for North America as well as globally.You ensure the execution of projects yearly according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, and financial results.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate,
cost-effective way.Formulate strategic and operational objectives.Create a vision for sustainability.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Minimum 15 years of experience in the energy sector.Experience in high voltage substations or FACTs.Management and sales or project execution experience.Good intercultural skills.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Asset: MBA.Job type: Full time
