**Supplier Quality Development Engineer - Smart Power**:

Support the deployment of the Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations,
while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response and sustainable solution to problems. Collaborate with of local functions that impact on the quality results in order to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aiming for world-class level performance.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Manages operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and the quality of the supplier's processes.
- Drives approval of supplier parts, materials and project subcontractor service activities, as applicable; this might include close coordination with other functions/experts and where applicable includes PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
- Leads the quick reaction of supply issues related to quality issues, deliveries, non-conforming products or project services.
- Leads improvement projects in collaboration with on-site supplier team.
- Ensures the supplier qualification process is executed in full and ensures the relevant suppliers are and remain fully qualified and compliant.
- Works with Procurement management as needed to continually improve such processes, including necessary training materials.
- Ensures suppliers remain in compliance with the ABB Supplier Code of Conduct, ethics and corporate governance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensures required supplier development processes are executed in full to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- 3 years of experience working with suppliers.
- Knowledge of SAP & Minitab desired.
- A collaborative,
solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Knowledge of Supplier development and ISO and TS Quality Systems.
- Advanced level of English required.
